RULES

The goal of crate climbing is to build a tower of beer crates below you while climbing up yourself. On the spot, you will be shown how to climb.

Competitors climb as high as possible. The top prize can be won if the competitor climbs over 8.37 meters, 28 boxes.

The competition has a time limit of 3 minutes per competitor. If 15 boxes are reached within this time, an additional 30 seconds are given to compete. If 20 boxes are reached within time, an additional 15 seconds are given to compete. If 25 boxes are reached within time, an additional 3 minutes are given to compete. If the first attempt ends before 1 minute is up, the participant has the opportunity for a second attempt. For the second attempt, the same rules apply as for the first attempt. If a participant makes several attempts, only the best result will count.

Contestants can try to reach a special prize that hangs high and away from the tower. Special prizes are available in limited quantities.

There is no final in the event, so whoever climbs the most boxes during the duration of the event, according to the rules, wins. The first three will be awarded at the competition. Men and women climb in the same classification. The grand prize can be won if the participant climbs over 8.37 meters. The top three will also be awarded according to the results. If participants have climbed the same number of boxes, the participant who took less time with their attempt, wins.

The top three have the opportunity to make a second attempt if they wish, the opportunity for the second attempt is from 18:40. The final number of boxes will be determined by the judge on the spot. The judge has the right to give the competitor a second attempt in special cases.
