The bog hike departure is at 5:00 PM from Agape Café (Karl Ernst von Baeri 1, Tartu – on the parking side). Come a bit earlier and we’ll offer you coffee, tea, or hot cocoa 🙂
We’ll head out from Tartu to Põlva County and walk a 5.8 km hiking trail in the Meenikunno bog with lanterns. For keen nature lovers, the trail has several information points introducing the surrounding bog and forest. We’ll also go up the observation tower for a beautiful view. Once we’ve covered the distance, we’ll finish the hike with sandwiches, strudel, and hot tea prepared by the organizers—so you don’t have to make your bag heavier and can simply enjoy the hike. We’ll be back in Tartu by 10:00 PM at the latest.

The participation fee is €19 for students; full price is €30. The fee includes both transport and catering.

Places are limited! Registration is only confirmed upon payment of the participation fee; otherwise, a spot will not be reserved for you. In case of no-show, the fee is non-refundable.
