The Student Section is back!

After an exceptionally successful spring of basketball, it’s time to return to the stands and make the new season even more memorable than the season just gone. This is your chance to get together with friends, meet new people and experience one of the best sporting experiences of student life in Tartu! Our opponent is none other than long-time rival Kalev/Bigbank, against whom we played an incredibly exciting Korvpalli Meistriliiga final series, an Estonian-Latvian Basketball League semifinal series and the Estonian Cup final in the spring, which all ended with victories for the Univesity of Tartu.

We welcome all students from Tartu’s higher education institutions – regardless of whether you have followed basketball before or ever considered yourself a sports fan. Come alone or bring your friends – all you need to get involved is a good mood and a loud voice!

We especially encourage international students to join us in the stands, as this is a great opportunity to meet local students, make new friends and experience authentic Tartu student and sports culture.
