We’re inviting all students to kick off the new season with a beach volleyball tournament on September 25 at 18:00!
The tournament will be held in two skill divisions:
a) Advanced – students with a volleyball background who feel confident playing according to beach volleyball rules.
b) Recreational – students whose volleyball experience comes from PE classes, beach holidays, and/or student beach volleyball training sessions. Recreational players are also allowed to receive serves using an overhead pass.
Matches will be played 3 vs 3 (Recreational) and 2 vs 2 (Advanced).
In the Advanced division, only women’s pairs and men’s pairs will compete.
You can also register individually – we’ll help you find teammates if needed!

The tournament starts with group-stage matches, after which teams will be divided into skill groups based on their results.
Both in the preliminary groups and later in the skill groups, all teams/pairs will play against each other. A win is worth 3 points and a loss 1 point. If two teams/pairs are tied on points, the winner of their head-to-head match will rank higher. If three or more teams/pairs are tied, the set ratio will be considered first, followed by the point ratio if necessary. The results in the skill groups will determine the final tournament standings.
